As America’s preeminent non-profit association for the advancement of mitigation banking as an economically and environmentally sound way to protect our natural resources, our members include both businesses and individuals who are approved by the federal government to transfer mitigation credits in the marketplace.*
- Mitigation Banker Members: Fully approved entities currently able to transfer mitigation credits ($5,000 annual membership dues)
- Affiliated Members: Entities in the process of being approved, or intending to initiate the process of obtaining approval, to transfer mitigation credits ($2,500 annual membership dues)
- Associate Members: Corporations, consultants, attorneys, engineers, contractors, surveyors and other businesses or individuals associated with the mitigation banking industry ($1,000 annual membership dues)
The NMBA is a nonpartisan, 501(c)6 not-for-profit organization. Dues are not deductible as charitable contributions but may be deductible as a business expense. Consult your tax advisor.
