David Urban has worked in the wetland mitigation field for over 19 years as an Army Corps regulator, an engineer, and as a wetland banker. He has been involved in the design, permitting and operation of over 15 mitigation banks in four different Corps of Engineers Districts, as well as numerous other offsite and offsite mitigation projects.

S. The EMB which is home to 39 threatened, listed, or endangered species, was the 2001 winner of the prestigious EEI National Land Management Award. Ren L. Martyn is the president of Finger Rock Preserve, LLC., a 620 acre mitigation bank in northwest Colorado. Having a degree in environmental science and being a land developer, Mr. Martyn saw the long overdue need for a viable wetland mitigation solution to serve the Vail and Steamboat Springs watersheds. Mr. Martyn is involved in all facets of the banking business but especially enjoys his involvement in policy and legislative matters.

Ms. Redmond is an environmental professional in natural resource consulting and regulation specializing in strategic approaches to complex projects. She has a remarkable depth of experience in mitigation issues starting from her 11 years as Florida DEP’s expert on mitigation and mitigation banking, leading the development and implementation of rules and legislation in these areas; following with her position as Vice President for Development at The Wetlandsbank Group; and as a consultant. Ms. Redmond was the private sector representative on the Committee on Mitigating Wetland Losses which studied and reported on wetland mitigation under the Section 404 regulatory program and upon which the new federal mitigation rules are based. She is frequently asked to speak, advise and teach on mitigation, regulation, watershed/landscape planning approaches and functional assessments.

George Kelly is a principal and co-founder of Environmental Banc & Exchange, LLC (“EBX”), with offices in Maryland; North Carolina; South Carolina; and California. He has been involved since 1997 with developing and implementing over 60 ecosystem restoration projects, including projects involving wetland, stream, buffer and forest mitigation and conservation banking, resulting up to $70 million in credit sales. Prior to founding EBX, Mr. Kelly served as a partner in the Environmental Law Department of a regional law firm focused on natural resource permitting and remediation. He has a B.A. in Political Science / Environmental Studies from Tulane University and a J. D. (cum laude) of M.S.L. in Environmental Law (cum laude) from Vermont Law School, where he served as a member of the Law Review.

Mike McCollum operates McCollum Associates, a consulting firm in Sacramento, California focusing on creation of mitigation and conservation banks. In the 1980s while serving as Deputy Secretary for Resources and Chief Deputy Director for the California Department of Fish and Game, Mike proposed California's first statewide wetland mitigation banking guidelines. In private practice in the 1990s, he facilitated the adoption of the first state and national policies for the creation of conservation banks. Prior to state service, Mike worked as an environmental scientist on the proposed Alaska gas pipeline and prepared environmental documents for energy projects.

Randy Wilgis is President of Environmental Banc & Exchange, America's leading turn-key provider of ecosystem mitigation and restoration solutions. Don Ewoldt is Vice President of the Wetlands Banking Division of the Lake Erie Land Company in Chesterton, Indiana. Mr. Ewoldt is responsible for all facets of the wetland banking business. Mr. Ewoldt managed the development of the 223 acre Lake Station Mitigation Bank, the first wetland bank in Indiana and also the first for the USACOE's Detroit District.

Wayne spent thirty-one year with the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). As the Chief of Endangered Species Program and a Field Supervisor in Region 1 of FWS, Wayne developed ESA policy in early years of implementing the Act. While managing the FWS’s largest field office in Sacramento CA, he became very involved with developing policy for conservation and mitigation banks for FWS. Wayne was on the Board of Directors for the Center for Natural Lands Management for 12 years and currently a Board member with the Habitat Stewardship Foundation. After retiring Wayne ran his own consulting business, W-Squared Consulting, and worked with mitigation/conservation banking companies helping them to investigate new markets for conservation banks as well as working with the International Business and Biodiversity Offset Program to help corporations to assess their impacts and designed offsets (mitigation) while developing a handbook for corporations or countries to use to develop policies for biodiversity offsets. In 2007 Wayne joined Wildlands, Inc, as the Director of Business Development.
